Goodreads 2021 Challenge – March 2021 update

I read 3 books in March. Which brings my total for 2021 to 6 books read. I always think I am going to read more, but many other life issues regularly present their fair amount of time suck.

9 Months left to go and I have so many books left to read – physical, ebook and audiobook. Just doing what I can to stay on track and make consistent progress.

Think Again

by Adam M. Grant

I was a fan of his book Originals, so it was inevitable that I was going to read Think Again. Adam has a way of teaming the narrative with argument so that you will learn to re think a process that seemed unchanged. Using topics like racism and abortion interjected with a process like motivational interviewers, your mind is enthralled by the outcome. A must read for anyone that wants change in their life.

Acid for the Children: A Memoir

by Flea

If you are looking for the story of how Red Hot Chili Peppers got started, that is at the very end of this book. Being upfront, this book details Flea growing up and his upbringing from Australia to Hollywood and paints a picture of his life and how it evolved into getting him into music. Worth the read for the raw history of his time living on the streets and with strangers and life long friends.

Vader’s Little Princess

by Jeffrey Brown

An illustrated humorous take on Darth Vader raising Leia from a child to a young adult. Real life father daughter relationship scenarios make this book an enjoyable read for a father who raised a daughter.
