I’ve seen this going around the last day or two so I thought I would share where I’ve been. 33 States. Missing 17. I’d like to visit the rest before I turn 60. That gives me about 8 more years to do that.
I don’t hold a candle to Dave2, and I appear to be missing visits to the entire middle strip of states, but it’s a good many I’ve been to already.
I don’t count layovers in airports in this map. I also had to spend at least one night in each of the states I’ve visited.

37 of the 51 they include (since D.C. is part of their list). Could’ve been five more but I’m not counting drive-through states (UT, DE, WY, AR, and two visits to DFW airport in TX).
Impressive. When you get to UT, we’ll count it when we go out for beers.
My map would be much less impressive with only eight states (I’m not counting ones I went to when I was too little to remember). But! I have a bunch of travel for work lined up so that will definitely knock out four or five more.
Yes, with this new work travel you are doing, you will be adding a lot more states.
Blimey, your list is actually none too shabby sir. I’ve only been to 7 the whole time I’ve lived here.
