Coming November 13, 2012
As I like to think I encouraged Chris Cornell some years ago, Soundgarden is back together and this is the cover of their forthcoming album “King Animal” on November 13, 2012.
I hope it’s good. It’s been 15 years since the last full Soundgarden album and I’d hate to wait this long for it to be just so-so. We had a nice preview with the song “Live To Rise” their contribution to the summer blockbuster “The Avengers” – official video below:

Wow, I didn’t even know they were (a) back together (b) making a new album. Guess I must really live in a cave. Superunknown was one of my favorite albums from the tail end of the grunge era in the early 90s.
Superunknown is one of those timeless albums that I ended up liking a lot, even if it’s not my top Soundgarden album (“Badmotorfinger” tops that list)
