The Return of Snowy Sunday
Yes, it’s true. Regardless of my lack of love for all things cold and snow, I do love making videos. And I can’t just hibernate inside all winter without making a video each and every week.
And yes, you read that right. Each and every week, I will be posting a new episode of Snowy Sunday. Not all episodes can be stellar works of brilliance, but I can promise they will be at least entertaining in some form.
Season 2?
As you may have noticed above, this episode is number 18, with no mention of a season number. While this is considered the second season of Snowy Sunday, I’ve decided to just continue the numbering of each episode in sequential order. So for as long as I will make Snowy Sunday episodes, their numbers will simply increase.
So enjoy, my Snowy Sunday fans and viewers.
you may want to invest in a snowblower
rachel – I think so, especially after the 8 inches we got this morning.
Ha, shovel wars. I love it. I actually miss not having that white stuff fall from the sky. I’ve gotta be honest though, I don’t envy you having to shovel snow on a daily basis. Good exercise, so at least there’s that.
My husband would love seeing this – he loves new stuff, even if it’s a shovel! (Wait – that came out all wrong – most people like new stuff, but I meant, new guy kinda tool stuff…)
I so need to go to bed!
But yay for Snowy Sundays!!! 😀
Um… what’s this “metal” stuff you’re talking about? The devil’s material, I tell you!
kevin – Lots of exercise, that’s for sure. Although it’s not the same as the treadmill in a warm gym.
sybil law – Man tools is what Reba calls these kind of things. Get some rest soon.
kapgar – You got that right… it’s a devil to get snow off the driveway with that “metal” shovel.
Psst.. Clay makes his official return next episode.
Rigged! It’s rigged I tell ya! Seriously, though, even on the sidewalk it didn’t look like the new shovel worked as well as you’d hoped.
I really thought the “new shovel” was going to be a snowblower.
Our snow shovel is the sun. 😀
ren – HA! That’s funny. I thought about getting the snow blower out (we have one, but it needs some work before it can be more useful than the manual shovels). And once the clouds clear, sometimes the sun does a nice job of melting… well, once I clear off almost all of the snow. 🙂
That must be why we have so many shovels, I just never knew there was a whole science to shoveling! We got 12 inches on Sunday night so ours were put to good use. I need to move to Florida, then I won’t care about the shovel wars!
Oh Hells Yes!
That will be all. 🙂
Is your snow always that powdery and light???? I just finished shoveling our driveway (with that same metal shovel you have) and ours was all slushy and heavy. If yours is always like that, perhaps I should move! Shoveling isn’t horrible, but I can think of better ways to spend my time, that’s for sure.
I am glad both shovels get to stay. That old shovel looks like it has worked hard to earn its keep.
lisa – As someone that lives in the snow, you get the multiple shovels. And my wife tells me all the time that we can move to a warmer climate.
hilly – I’ll be more than happy to come shovel your walk… er wait. You are doing the Florida thing. Oh Hells Yes!
tori – Not always this light and powery. Sometimes it’s a wet wet snow that breaks tree limbs. And yes, there are better and more productive things to do than shovel snow. When it’s day 5 in a row of shoveling, I really dread it.
We don’t even have a shovel! Hmm. Maybe we should invest in one… with or without the metal edge, I am not sure…
kilax – The metal edge tends to catch on every possible. It’s more for smooth sidewalks and concrete driveways.
