The first episode of Scooter Sunday for Season 2 starts now.
Scooter Sunday Season 2 Ep. 01 from Marty Mankins on Vimeo.
Vimeo FTW
I’m pretty much done with YouTube. They, meaning Warner Music Group [and not YouTube] are the cocksuckers that keep fucking with the audio and even after doing research to find out what band belongs to what label, I still seem to find a song or a piece of audio that belongs to WMG. So it’s Vimeo only for now.
I know there are a few of you that have issues watching these videos and I am working on another solution. Stay tuned.
Name The Scooter contest
There’s a new contest up and on its own page. Click on the cool little banner below for all of the juicy details.

Name the Scooter? I’d have thought you would have gotten a corporate sponsor to do that for you!
Very excited to see Scooter Sunday back and even MORE excited about the contest!
PS You still owe me email ;o)
Woohoo. Glad Scooter Sunday is back. I saw this the other day regarding Warner and Vimeo. Doesn’t sound good. Ugh.
dave2 – Corporate sponsor? I don’t know if Honda would consider less than 1,000 views worthy of corporate sponsorship.
penelope – Email sent.
And thanks. I’m happy to have Scooter Sunday back.
kevin – Oh shit.. I didn’t read that from the EFF yet. Vimeo is my mainstay. I am looking at hosting them locally (in Flash format), but running into some challenges that I need to get past.
Great kickoff to Scooter Sunday Season! You got some great angles there, and I could tell you were having fun even without the smile
catherine – Yes, I am so happy to get back on my scooter. Which means nicer weather and less of me driving my car.
There are so many things I loved about that but I think my very favorite was the snowman at the end!
Welcome back, Scooter-to-be-named-later!!
Thank God Season Two is in production! Now I KNOW summer is coming and I can look for my shorts; yea!!! Oh, yeah, and think of a good scooter name too ….
I’m overjoyed to see you and as-yet-unamed-Scooter back together again. Perhaps we shall have a Native American-style name? Rides With Marty?
Yaaaaaayyy!!!
I was super excited to watch this – awesome! Seeing Clay at the end was fabulous – and the fake out intro made me laugh.
You da man, Marty!
tori – Clay will be missed. Had to give him one more ride (actually, this was his first scooter ride). I may do some more claymation, scooterly speaking.
ren – Can’t wait to see what name will win.
Jot It Down – Welcome to the blog, Jo (my wife’s sister). Summer will be fun this season.
whall – Yes, feels good to back in the saddle. Rides With Marty… catchy.
sybil law – Wow! Accolades all over the place. Thank you. I actually did mow some of the lawn, too. My wife was happy once I left on the scooter.
LOL! The into had me laughing so hard! My mom always tells me she wants to hear that song when she reads my website. What a weirdo.
Great video! I love this song. It’s my fave to play on Rock Band! Ha ha.
You can’t smile, you’d get bugs in your teeth! That happened to me when I was running a few weeks ago.
Oh, and the video works… on Steven’s comp! I still need to check mine. I am sorry that I haven’t yet. I don’t listen to audio unless I am at home and I never seem to be at home and on my computer except for the weekends!
Bye Clay! Ha ha!
kilax – Thank you for the props, Kim.
As for the video issues, check my other email I sent to see if that link works for you. If it does, that will help confirm the direction I will be using in place of YouTube.
Right on! Glad to see Scooter Sunday is back.
brandon – Thank you. And as the weeks go by, there will be more scooter sundays.
This one I did see, although I now realize I never commented… you’re welcome for the suggestion.
And it’s a happy day knowing that I have Scooter Sundays to look forward to.
kapgar – I’m just happy the snow is gone, although Clay the Snowman was fun (since he wasn’t cold like the actual snow, he’s welcome).
