Seems like a match made in Oreo heaven
I’ve tried at least 6 flavored Oreo cookies before this Reese’s blend. Some I’ve loved. Some I’ve not liked as much. But this one: it’s really good and seemed a very perfect match, as far as flavors go. I mean, Oreo is a chocolate cookie with a creamy center. So match that with a blend of peanut butter and chocolate filling center and you have a natural mix of flavors that Reese’s Peanut Butter fans have known for many years.
Split flavor center
Now if you are not a fan of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, then you might not like this flavor of Oreos. But if you are, you are in for a treat. The mix of peanut butter is good. Not too sweet, not too chocolate. Not too much peanut butter. The side of the cookie is color split, with one half of the creamy center a chocolate filling and the other half peanut butter. I know I’ve mentioned peanut butter many times in this post, but it’s the focus of this particular flavor of Oreo.
The split open Oreo cookie gives you an idea of what flavor mix I’m talking about here. The blend is obviously more focused on the peanut butter side vs. the chocolate, not including the actual chocolate Oreo cookie outer shell.
Most of these cookies are labeled as “Limited Edition” which for some, I don’t mind them going away. But for this particular flavor, I hope it will stick around. I doubt it, but one can wish it will make a return.
