Snowy Sunday #03 13

Blogging Goodness

I hope all of you in the states had a good holiday [Thanksgiving, Turkey Day, Screw The Diet Day… whatever you want to call it]. I had a few days off and enjoyed it quite a bit. Got caught up with some movies from my Netflix queue, made my famous spinach & artichoke dip as an appetizer before turkey dinner on Thursday and watched our kitchen get that much closer to being done [full blog post with before and after photos once it’s all completed]

One thing I didn’t do that I wanted was to get caught up on my blogging. Oh, my feed reader stayed clear until Friday [blame it on Black Friday], but I’m still stuck at posting two blog posts per week. I’d like to add that third on a weekly basis, but it’s just not happening yet. I’m sure it will soon.

For now, enjoy an all new Snowy Sunday episode… now with snow!

As for that ‘cool thing‘ I promised from last week’s episode… well, I couldn’t make it happen this time around. But I will soon… I promise… next week. 😉

And here I was, sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for “the cool thing” to happen, getting all excited when your blog popped up in my feed reader… and nothing!

You SHOULD have told me that this Snowy Sunday Video was “the cool thing” so I could have gotten on with my life, but noooooooooo!

dave2 – Life goes on. And I’m glad you’ll be back next week to see “the cool thing” 😉

brandon – Didn’t realize the snowman killings were so popular. Guess I’ll have to find a way to work those in.

kevin – Thanks for the round of awesome props. The scenery is pretty cool up there.

brandon – Well, I hope the woodwork speaks out soon, joining the snowman killing fanboy.

Hey! Snowbird is where we skied last March. We loved it, but it was too expensive for an every year ski trip. I expect we’ll go back eventually.

ren – You are right… Snowbird is pricey. Deer Valley (near Park City) takes the top prize for most expensive.

tori – We do have some great mountains and views here. And only 30 mins from my house.

Years ago … we were 20-minutes into a 6 or 7 hour drive … the middle boy looked over and asked, “are we almost there?”

I explained it was going to be a very long trip for him if he’d thought the trip was going to be anywhere near that short.

delmer – The concept of time for kids changes a lot. Nice to know that when they reach the age of 17, they understand it (at least my daughter does).

kilax – I actually have not been skiing for years. I’ve been meaning to go again, but haven’t been that interested. Odd, huh… that I live this close to multiple ski resorts.
