The In Memoriam part of the Oscar show is one I always look forward to. In a sentimental sort of way, seeing who in the movie industry we lost in the last year.

This year, against the backdrop of showing those passed on, Dave Grohl gave a very memorable acoustic performance of The Beatle’s “Blackbird”.

Class act and very appropriate.

    I really enjoyed the performance as well but was so tired that I did nod off a few times. But he sounded spectacular and I did get to see Bowie and Nimoy.

    BTW LOVE your new mobile template. Or is it responsive?

      Nice to see Bowie and Nimoy. The one omission that I can think of was Abe Vigoda.

      Thanks. This is a new WordPress template that is responsive. To make sure it’s native mobile, I had to make sure I turned off the Mobile plugin first (it’s now disabled for good)
