Movie Meme Copycat
New Posts Soon
“uh honey, where are we going again?”
New and exciting blog posts coming this week. I promise. Wedding photos, trip details, fucking airline bullshit… you name it, it’s going to be covered. But to hold you over till Thursday, here’s something I copied from Adam’s blog [and other blogs, too].
Movie Meme
Entertainment Weekly posted a list of the top 100 movies of the last 25 years. And as much as I love movies, I thought I would go down the list and bold the movies I’ve seen and put a π next to the films I liked and a π next to the ones I didn’t.
And if you have already left comments on other blogs, you can leave the same comments here, too… if you wish [or leave a completely new comment]

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MARRIAGE! WOOHOO!
(yes, this was random)
hilly – Mucho appreciato, Hilly.
What????? how could they leave out “Very Bad Things”, “The Usual Suspects”, “Rounders”, and especially “Enemy of the State” and ……. “Grosse Pointe Blank”, and “Dead Poets Society”, “Good Will Hunting” and for the love of god what about “Tombstone”…. These movies are all better than CLUELESS….. if you have to pick an Alicia Silverstone movie it had better be “The Crush”…. C’Mon…..
kris – I know… this is Entertainment Weekly we are talking about. “Good Will Hunting” and “Tombstone” are two that I have watched over and over and over. In fact, one of my favorite movie quotes comes from GWH: “That son-of-a-bitch. He stole my line!”
I’m still pissed that Heat isn’t on that list but Austin Powers is. That’s sacrilege I swear.
winter – Yes, “Heat” is a great movie (Val Kilmer and Al Pacino were dead on in that flick).
congratulations!!!! I can’t wait to read about the wedding!
tori – I will be posting the first part sometime on Thursday. Too much for just one post. It’s a three parter.
Congratulations!!! Can’t wait to hear all about the wedding!
And wow..that’s a lot of movie watching. I need to get out more.
A lot of those are really good movies. The Lion King is my all-time favorite classic Disney movie. π
blondeblogger – Thank you.
And yes, a lot of movies to watch.
motley – I love The Lion King. It was such a great movie.
You… haven’t… seen… Scream? I didn’t think this was possible… And yet I have no idea why I am surprised… Weird moment for me… Brain dead today!
bec – I heard it was a good movie… I’ve seen Dawn of the Dead years ago. And Night of the Living Dead. And Scary Movie, although that one is a comedy.
The big question of course, after admitting to seeing two ‘of the Dead’ films is have you seen Shaun of the Dead?
bec – I have and it was great. Funny movie.
