Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends in the US. Hope you enjoyed some great meals, wonderful drinks and time spent with loved ones.
My list of what I’m thankful for is quite lengthy, even if this year has been more of a challenge to appreciate the things I SHOULD be thankful for. Personally, it’s been a mixed bag, but overall, I’m thankful to have made it through this far without my many distractions and procrastinations stopping more than they did.
15 Years Later
After 15 years, we are together again on Thanksgiving
But one of the things I am most thankful for is my relationship I have with my daughter, Tiffany.
For years, her time on holidays was mostly spent with her mom. Last Christmas Eve and this year’s Thanksgiving, I’ve had the wonderful pleasure of spending it with her and my side of the family. I tried not to get too emotional about it [like I am now writing up this blog post] since it was something I have been looking forward to for weeks now. Such a positive thing for both of us.
I look forward to future years of spending time with her during the holidays.
And lastly, I’m thankful I still have one more month to try and salvage some productivity in 2014 before January 1st hits.
