My favorite quote from the movie “Almost Famous”
My favorite movie of all time. Almost Famous. Came out in 2000. I saw it in the theater opening weekend and have seen it dozens of times since then on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital.
This quote is by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, who plays music critic and journalist Lester Bangs in the movie. His role is so pivotal and erratic in guiding Patrick Fugit, who plays William Miller as a kid wanting to be a rock journalist.
