The last sequential date till January 2, 2103
Us geeks like to celebrate those sequential dates or calendar and time entries. Like twice a day, I always look out for binary times like 11:11 or 10:11.
So imagine my glee when I realized what today is: the last sequential date of not just this year or the next 10 years, but the last one for this century. The next time won’t be till 2 years into the 22nd century: 01/02/03. Of which I will most likely not be around anymore. I seriously doubt I will live to be 140 years old. I’ll be happy if I make it past 80.
So enjoy today as one of the last you will ever see. And IF we live to be 140, we are so going to blog the next sequential date.

I figure 1/2/34 and its ilk count, so there’s that.
Oh yes, that could work as well.
And by “Us geeks” you mean “U.S. Geeks”, right? Because it’s 13/12/14 pretty much everywhere else in the World. 🙂 #MetricSystem
Yes, sometimes us geeks… err. us U.S. geeks think only of our time and date formats when 90% of the world is the same.. err. different than us… err… U.S.
I agree with Ren. 1/2/34 works as well.
And it comes along much sooner. We all might still be very much alive then.
Did you post this at 09:10:11 as well for the full effect?
You know, I wish I would have. I saw other blog posts celebrating this date format and they did.
