11 Years Quit

As of today – Friday, May 16th – it has been 11 years since I was a cigarette smoker.

Yes, there have been times when I’ve enjoyed a cigar or a Prime Time but it was rare and I never inhaled [I sound like Bill Clinton there with that statement].

Health wise, I’m sure that it’s been good for me. They say if you can make it past 7 years, that all of the damage done to your lungs is 100% healed. I’m sure that varies based on how long you smoked and the volume per day. I was down to about half a pack a day towards the last few months before I quit.

I seriously doubt I would ever start up again and I’m sure if I ever did, there’s a line of people out there that would seriously kick my ass.

Any of my readers been smoke free? And for how long?
