Thirty years ago today, we lost a guitar legend. Randy Rhoads, who’s main claim to fame was with Quiet Riot and Ozzy Osbourne’s solo band after his exit from Black Sabbath in 1979.

Randy was an incredible guitarist and his shining work on the first two Ozzy solo albums have stood the test of time. Major kudos to Dana Strum for his persistent nature in bringing Ozzy and Randy together.

And with that, let’s enjoy the incredible playing of Mr. Randy Rhoads.
