In the past I've posted somewhat personal things on spur of the moment as it felt better to get it off my chest. Only to realize that there are people reading that probably didn't need to read that. That's partly why I deleted all my content and started my blog <a href="http://kevinspencer.org/archives/2008/10/in_which_the_scratch_is_starte.html" rel="nofollow">from scratch</a> last year. I run across this all the time, but have learned my lesson and now err on the side of caution just as you’re doing. In the past I’ve posted somewhat personal things on spur of the moment as it felt better to get it off my chest. Only to realize that there are people reading that probably didn’t need to read that.

That’s partly why I deleted all my content and started my blog from scratch last year.
