whall – When I was watching the interactive map that shows where the plane is at all times, I was hoping it would go over Austin, but it ended up going much more north over the top of Oklahoma. I thought about asking the pilot to make a detour, but Reba said she wanted to get home sooner.

I take that guilt and toss to my wife.

I’m so disappointed that I missed Invaded, but even more disappointed that you didn’t stop by in Austin on your way. Heh heh, guilt is so easily thrown.

My wife had a free wi-fi pass when she flew back home recently. We did some texting up until her battery died. I’ve yet to be on a flight that offers it.

iron fist – Yes, same with me. I normally do the under 2 hour flights. Although the flight to Hawaii in March didn’t have wifi, but I would say that was due to them not rolling it out yet. Needless to say, I’m hooked now.

kevin – I think they are just rolling most of it out this year. A technical marvel, IMO.

I flew quite a lot last year but never made it onto a flight that had wifi. Wow, that would have been all kinds of awesome.

I have yet to be on a plane that offers wi-fi and am a bit envious. Then again I haven’t taken any long cross country flights lately and I suspect this is only available on the larger planes, and not the little puddle-jumpers that ferry me around the western states.
