10

Hard to believe I’ve done 10 episodes of Snowy Sunday so far. And winter is barely half over here. But each week, I try to come up with something fun, something snow-related. It’s not easy, given the fact that we’ve not had any snow here for well over a week. I’m dying for some snow… really. Sure, I don’t want to get dumped with 2 feet of it all at once, but a few inches here and there would be nice. Until that happens, I’ll find snow, even if I have to head up the mountain to find some.

Snow? Snow? Did you say you want some snow? I’m pretty sure most of Chicago would be happy to send you ours!!

  2. SJ says:

    You had me at Miserlou.

  3. Hilly says:

Wow, Jules and Vince Vega! This is my favorite ever. Love love love.

  4. Dave2 says:

Now I want to watch Pulp Fiction.

  5. martymankins says:

nilsa – Send the snow my way. I’ll welcome it.

sj – That song is very iconic.

hilly – Nothing like Jules and Vince Vega.

    dave2 – Yes… my plan worked… MuHAHAHA!

  6. Wow, these keep getting better each week. What a cool idea. And I bloody love Pulp Fiction too – Tarantino’s finest hour.

  7. Avitable says:

This was a great one, Marty.

  8. Penelope says:

Exactly how much Bombaby had you drunk when you thought this up? ;)
    Bloody brilliant!

  9. kilax says:

Ha! I loved that. I have never seen Pulp Fiction but I recognized the voices :)

  10. martymankins says:

kevin – Why thank you. The idea started with a snowman and a penguin… and it went from there to someone mentioning the line “pretty please, with sugar on top, clean up the fuckin car” and the rest is what you saw.

avitable – Thanks, Adam. Glad you liked it.

penelope – How much Bombay? you don’t want to know… *hic* Thank you.

kilax – Thanks, Kim. See… even without seeing the movie you knew what movie it was (unless you watched the credits… ;-) )

  11. That is one of my favorite movies. This was great! I am always amazed at how much effort you put into this!

  12. Ren says:

I’m with Dave, I’m gonna have to watch Pulp Fiction again soon. Sadly, it’s not available on Watch Instantly, and I’m pretty sure I don’t have the DVD, so I’ll have to borrow it.

  13. martymankins says:

tori – Thank you. Pulp Fiction is such a great movie… one of my favorites, too.

ren – My plan continues to work…. Muhahahah! I think I’ve seen the DVD for under $10 now. It’s worth having if you don’t already have it.

  14. whall says:

I’m w/Dave and Ren. Now I gotta go watch it. I’ve only seen it once anyway.

    Great job on the video!

  15. martymankins says:

whall – Add another one…. Muhahahah! Thanks, Wayne… much appreciated.

  16. Ren says:

Snagged the DVD from my parents’ house when I picked up the kids last night. Probably won’t watch it ’til this weekend, though.

  17. martymankins says:

ren – Awesome. Have Wayne come over and make it a Pulp Fiction night… without the kids, of course. Don’t need the little ones repeating Jules and Vincent’s dialog.
