Scooter Sunday #13
Still no scooter. How long does it take to order one fucking part? Sheesh! I guess I’ll find out on Tuesday when I call back to see how much longer I must be without by beloved scooter.

Quiet Out Here
I know it’s been quiet out here on BL. I meant to work on another blog post mid-week, but for some reason, every time I did, I got distracted or interrupted and had to press ‘Save’ and close it down. I promise next week will have more activity out here.
Club 48
Since last October, there is a bar that has become one of my favorites here in town. It’s called Club 48. I’ve sent many a Twitter from there about it and I can’t say enough great things about it. It’s not fancy by any means, but it’s also not a dive bar, either. They have great drink prices, a very diverse crowd. And they have karaoke on Friday nights.

Whenever someone quits the company I work for, we go there to have one last sendoff. We had my going away party there when I quit last October [only to go back to work for them in February of this year]. And we were there in April when my boss left. This week it was Amber leaving, who had been with the company for a while. We will all miss her. Good luck Amber.

Park City
Saturday night, we get a phone call from my step daughter, who is in Park City attending a wedding. Her and her boyfriend got a room and wanted us to come up to watch Ayla (Reba’s granddaughter) while they continued their wedding fun. So being the nice parents we are, we head up the mountain to go babysit and hang out. We like Park City a lot, and have time share there [in fact, right next door to where we were staying ] and enjoy the cooler temperatures in the summer time. Plus, the scenery is really nice.

Look at you all bright and shiny in the photos! It’s like you’ve been singing up a storm and nothing at all to do with the amber coloured liquid in the glass.

Scooterless Scooter Sunday makes me sad. 🙁
bec – Why thank you. The song I was singing there was “Tiny Dancer” (had a hard time hitting those high notes). The beer was not mine – i was drinking gin and tonics all night.
And that was just one of the books. One of them lists the songs by artist and another one lists them by song title (alphabetically).
nilsa – Yes, it’s really nice here. All of Utah is very cool. Dave2 can vouch for that… especially with his awesome pics of southern Utah.
Dave2 – I know… I’m going to go Bad Monkey on them if they don’t get it done this week.

hilly – Oh yes… staring into my drunk eyes entrances you into a similar drunken state, without even having to drink… of course, what fun is that.
winter – I’ve got my argument all ready to go if I met with another delay. Maybe I should do the Bad Monkey “gift” that he left for Johnny Rockets.
I was just about to ask you what song you were singing but you’ve already answered it. Well sir, you’ve either got more balls than I or I’ve never quite had enough “dutch courage” do sing in front of others 😉

kevin – With enough booze in me, I also have been known to belt out a decent “Sweet Child O Mine”
kilax – I know… 1 week should be enough for a single part. And Park City is pretty nice in the summer. Winter time is a different story.
kris – Damn! My trend has been outed. Oh well, I’ll keep posting them. LOL
penelope – I just filled the gas tank in my car a second time in two weeks. If I would have been riding my scooter, it would still be on it’s first tank. As for the alarming look, I tend to over extend my look. It also works that way vocally, too.
