winter – The FF plugins are nice, except each time you upgrade, it’s a crap shoot if they are going to work or not. Sea Monkey not having plugins avoids all of that.

bec – Your experience is the same as mine, where I use Safari for the admin stuff (writing posts, etc) and FF for everything else. WordPress sure is a fickle beast, when it comes to browser compatibility.

dmarks – I’ve noticed that as well with the comment Leave a Reply box. I will have to look at the code to see if there is a way to increase the border size on it, making it stand out more.

One thing I noticed is that the “Leave a Reply” stuff has no borders, and is set up backwards (instead of the standard label first, entry area second). So, if it is not filled in already, it is a matter of poking around until you find a place you can type.

I had issues with the Visual Editor in Wordpress in FF2 but then fixed them… somehow… not sure what happened but then it was happiness all the way. Then, with the FF3 upgrade (which otherwise I love) teh ol’ Wordpress issues returned. So, bouncing back to Safari to write my posts and Firefox for everything else!

I loves me my Sea Monkey. It’s a VERY stable browser platform. Not as hip with the plug ins as Firefox, but I’m not a plug in dependent girl anyway. Glad you like it!

winter – Checking that out, it looks like a cool app. An all-in-one with an IRC chat client. That’s pretty cool. And there’s a Mac version, too. Thanks for the recommend.

Sea Monkey is Mozilla’s full featured browser with a built in composer. It used to be called Phoenix in the earliest incarnations.

kapgar – WordPress is not all that bad. It seems there’s an add on for everything. And people like Karl and Hilly have had recent experiences doing the upgrade.

whall – I’ve not viewed my blog from a BB, so that’s good to know. Both of my Treo’s (a Palm and a Windows Mobile), the site looks pretty good.

kevin – YEah, the site itself looks good in FF2 (I’m on a Mac), but as Hilly mentioned in her comment, editing and admin stuff seem to have issues.

hilly – Yeah! a Safari for Windows user. The latest version does work pretty well for a lot of things. I use it on my work Windows computer for some of the work stuff I do.

winter – To be honest, i’ve not heard of Sea Monkey. I’ve tried Opera and it’s got some minor issues.

avitable -Really? That’s cool. Reading more about him, I see he made his first appearance the year I was born (1963). And his character was also in the first and third X-Men movies. Now I am be proud to be Iceman.
